Our history is one of constant evolution based on the needs of our customers and the visionary leadership of our CEO. Founder and CEO Jerry Kettler, launched AIR Engineering and Testing in 1986 and formed Facility Performance Associates in 2008. During this time, Jerry and his team of experienced engineers and consultants optimized hundreds of facilities and buildings from the design stage to full operation, and collaborated on the first Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified building in North Texas. Since then, the combined companies of The Centre for Building Performance have contributed to over 350 LEED projects.
In 2009, both companies came together under the newly-created Centre for Building Performance in response to client requests for integrated, design, construction and operational services. With over two decades of building optimization and service centric leadership under its belt, The Centre picked up momentum as the go-to organization for building owners, designers, and architects in the area of:
ABOUT THE OWNER

Facility Performance Associates, LLC and AIR Engineering and Testing, Inc. are jointly owned by the managing principal, Gerald J. Kettler, and Miriam C. Kettler. Mr. Kettler has over 42 years of management and professional level experience in the design, construction, testing, commissioning, construction management and operation of physical facilities enabling FPA and AIR Engineering and Testing to efficiently meet the needs of your projects. He has worked for a variety of architectural, engineering consulting, construction, testing and management companies. Mr. Kettler retired from the Air Force Reserve as a Colonel after thirty one years of service. During his time in the Air Force he served as commander of a 200 person Civil Engineering Squadron and as Acting Division Chief of Systems Engineering and Environmental Division at Air Mobility Command Headquarters, giving him worldwide experience in the design, construction, testing, commissioning and operation of airport and other operating facilities.
